Jubilee 2025 Pilgrims of Hope Banner

In celebration of the Jubilee the Leeds Diocese have created a travelling banner to visit the schools and parishes, passing on the joy of hope and joining together in prayer. We received the banner from St Patrick’s Huddersfield and passed it on to Our Lady of Lourdes primary school. Students from each school joined us for collective worship led by the Y7 Collective worship group. We were also joined by various crochet Luce and friends pilgrim dolls that are the official mascot of the Jubilee. Thanks to Miss Croke for making one for All Saints and to Mrs Holmes for sharing the pattern with us. In the morning we had a live stream service for the students where we were reminded of Jesus’ call to share the good news and the jubilee message of being Pilgrims of Hope. We also looked at the meaning of the Jubilee logo being a boat carrying all people travelling together under the protection of the cross and anchored by Jesus and faith.
