In case of severe weather, especially snow, which may affect the College, an assessment will be made about whether it is safe and practical to open to staff and students.
This decision will be made as early in the day as possible, based on the information available to us/the weather conditions at the time.
We will inform staff and parents via EduLink if we are going to close. A notification will also be uploaded to our website.
If you do not hear anything from us, the College will be/remain open.

Please be assured that we only decide to close our College in exceptional circumstances, where the safety of students is the primary concern. On occasion, school closure may be due to the availability of teaching staff who travel some distance to reach us, rather than purely conditions for students getting to/remaining in school.
Please ensure we are kept up to date with changes to your contact details, such as your mobile number, landline phone number and email address. You can update your contact details at any time via EduLink, within the Update Information icon. In this section, please press on the double arrows to find your child, provide any updates and then return to the top of the page to save your changes.
If we do not have your correct details you will not receive the information we send out about a closure.
We also ask that you ensure the Early Closure Consent section of EduLink is up to date for each child in school. One option should be selected from the four that are available. Early Closure Consents can be accessed via EduLink within the Update Information icon. In this section, please press on the double arrows to find your child, scroll to the bottom of the window and provide any update. You will then need to return to the top of the page to save your changes.
It is your responsibility to ensure that we have up-to-date early closure consent preferences for your child(ren).
We also ask that you provide an emergency contact number – this can also be added/updated on EduLink.
