Tender Awards

We are so proud of our students who received Tender’s Being Brave Award during a rewards ceremony at the Unicorn Theatre London.

They received the award for their commitment, care and bravery. This was demonstrated during a healthy relationship workshop where they volunteered to share their experience with students outside of the workshop.

Students travelled to London with Mrs Kesterlian and PC Sally Baines to receive the award from Jess Philips. Other presenters included Jess Phillips, Tiernan Brady, Priyanga Burford, David Tennant, Rufus Norris, Jodie Whittaker, Toby Jones, Nazir Afzal and Susie McDonald.

Tender is a charity acting for healthy relationships. They work with schools to provide age-appropriate relationships programmes. Teaching includes real life scenarios; role play and drama. The workshops help students learn about the warning signs of abuse.
