Your child should not attend school in relation to COVID-19 for the following reasons:

* if they have COVID-19 symptoms (Your child needs to take a test.)

* if they live with someone who has COVID-19 symptoms (Your child should isolate until the other person’s test results are received. If the test is positive, your child must start their 14 day isolation from the other person’s date of first symptoms. If a negative result is received, your child can return to school unless they have symptoms.)

* if someone they live with has had a positive test (Your child must isolate for 14 days from the other person’s first day of symptoms.)

* if they have been in close contact with someone who has had a positive test (Your child must isolate for 14 days from contact point if the first day of symptoms is unknown.)

* if they are awaiting results of their own COVID-19 test (Your child must isolate at home until the results are received. If the test is positive they must remain at home for 10 days from the date of first symptoms. If the test is negative they can come back to school.)

* if they have received a positive test result (Your child must isolate at home for 10 days from the date of first symptoms.)

Should your child need to take a test, please ensure you update school as soon as you receive the results, both negative and positive. Please email a copy of the result to office@aschc.com so that we can take necessary action as early as possible.

If you are unsure whether your child should come to school in relation to COVID-19, please call school or email office@aschc.com for support and guidance before you send them in.

We thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe.
